not what I expected from the advert
Lovely room and location, bedding was cosy and the bed comfy.
I have stayed here before and found it great.The Inn is set amongst beautiful gardens and has an interesting history.The room was comfortable and had doors opening onto the gardens.The location is good and communication is great with owner and manager.

Very clean .warm and cosy. Nicely placed for what we wanted to do.
Lovely garden surrounds - bathroom was clean and recently renovated - closeness to our destination was excellent
On arrival the room was warm, they turned the heating on before we arrived. Then there were Compliments Chocolate on the beds along with clean towels. We travelled with two Staffy, Nigel put us in room 4 and have a beautiful garden for our dogs to rome around. Will definitely book again in the future
Very comfortable room.
thought we were in main inn but was out the back and pictures didn’t really show reality. ensuite was modern and clean. but bed / sitting area miss matching and rustic not what we call historical. the room was quite and peaceful until till next door moved in.
The room was very comfortable and great communication from the landlord through checkin and post checkout.
